The education selector is a means to help people interested in APICS education and credential programs quickly identify the program and method of study that will best meet their needs. Once an individual identifies the best program for their needs, the tool makes it easy to begin on the path to education or certification.
In addition, APICS realized that self-study is the preferred educational option for many certification candidates so the association introduced the APICS CPIM Self-Study Kit and APICS Online Powered By Accenture. Both the self-study kit and online course include the APICS CPIM Exam Content Manual (ECM), which provides an outline of each exam’s body of knowledge and references. In addition to the ECM, both options include the CPIM Exam Simulator, an online tool designed to help candidates prepare and familiarize themselves with the computer-based exams. This tool has more than 300 practice questions per module, with a self-paced, timed and final exam simulator to help candidates be successful when they take CPIM exams.
“Deciding which certification program to pursue is a big decision. The most common questions we receive are about how to choose the most appropriate certification program and preparation method,” said APICS CEO Abe Eshkenazi. “We created the education selector tool to help individuals access the information they need to make the best choices. In addition, we’ve had several requests for a CPIM self-study method. We added new resources to enable candidates to achieve their education and career goals efficiently and with more flexibility.”
