They feature smaller profile labels with 50-percent more read range, at list prices of 20- to 25-percent less, than comparably sized products, the company claimed. The new models are the IQ 100, 150, 300, 500 and 600. They were designed for compatibility with all leading thermal RFID printers, and feature options for additional memory, encoding, color printing and custom form factors. According to Omni-ID, the labels function reliably even when affixed to curved surfaces in industrial applications, such as pipes and cylinders. The IQ 100, 150 and 600 can be ordered now, and the 300 and 500 models will become available in the coming weeks, the company said. Omni-ID's products for on-metal and visual tagging can be applied to asset tracking, supply-chain management and work in progress.
