It is the company's second facility in that city. The new operation, dubbed Airtech, consists of 300,000 square feet of warehousing space, with room for up to 20,000 pallets. It also has 30 dock doors. The location features radio-frequency capability and software for automated case picking. The Airtech facility will offer dry warehousing space, with refrigerated items continuing to be handled at the PDS Allpoints Facility in Plainfield. Prime Distribution Services operates more than 2.5m square feet of warehousing space in key transportation corridors. It is a unit of Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc.
