The company has expanded the facility by 93,656 square feet, bringing total capacity at the location to 667,362 square feet. The complex is located at the largest inland port in Europe, offering access to major road networks and a container terminal with rail and inland waterway connections to the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp in the Netherlands. Yusen said it is expanded its offering of value-added service and focusing on such new areas as dangerous goods. In addition, the company has expanded its returns-logistics area at the site in Germany, and invested in a fully automated sorting machine. Yusen Logistics operates more than 500 offices in 42 countries and regions.
