Both services offer 14-day transit of LCL freight to North American markets. CaroTrans provides the services in cooperation with Euro Italian Freight Systems in Milan. Together they are offering direct, twice-weekly services from Milan to New York and Milan to Chicago. In North America, CaroTrans has 13 local offices and 25 container freight stations. Milan is a key hub for goods manufactured in the northern industrial area and all of Italy, as well as cargo moving from Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia, the NVO said.
