BlueStar, Inc. is distributing the new ST-A10 TouchPOS Terminal from Toshiba TEC. The unit is designed to withstand severe thermal and humid conditions, powerful fluctuations and radio interference. It features VIA TwinTurbo Technology, which allows the processor to switch between ultra-low-power modes to full-speed operation in a single clock cycle. The ST-A10 offers ease of maintenance, lower power consumption and efficient heat dissipation, BlueStar claimed. Its small footprint is intended to maximize display space for retailers at point of sale. BlueStar is a distributor of POS, barcoding, data collection, radio frequency identification and wireless mobility products. It works exclusively with value-added reseller (VAR) partners.
