With Fieldglass Live Insights, organizations can benchmark market rates, hiring cycle times and supplier performance as part of a process that culminates with decisions about external talent and their engagement - using Fieldglass data and supplemental third-party data that has been aggregated, anonymized and normalized, SAP says. Organizations can also upload their own employee data into the tool to gain visibility of their talent across channels in real time.
SAP Fieldglass “continues to be one of the most capable services procurement vendors, with the largest client base, the most spend under management, and the widest geographic presence,” according to research firm Forrester Research, Inc.. The tool retained its position as a leader in The Forrester Wave: Services Procurement, Q1 2017.
“With access to the most robust data via SAP Fieldglass Live Insights, our customers can analyze and make decisions at speed about their external talent — arguably one of their most valuable assets — as they race to become more competitive in every aspect of their business,” said Rob Brimm, president of SAP Fieldglass.
By identifying where to source the right skills at the most competitive rates — and being able to immediately requisition that talent with this new capability — organizations can accelerate the speed at which their business operates, SAP says. For example, they can:
-Conduct cost-benefit analysis in real time to inform external talent decisions based on location and time to fill and other market metrics
-Determine competitive rates for talent that is needed to launch a new product or service, and requisition that talent in an uninterrupted workflow
-Identify the optimal time to release requisitions for striking a balance between lead time and cost
“With SAP Fieldglass Live Insights, we were able to put the extracted value of ready-to-analyze transactional data into the hands of our customers for the first time in a way that is immediately actionable for their external workforce strategies, helping to keep our customers one step ahead of the fight for talent,” said Helen Arnold, president of SAP Data Network.
SAP Fieldglass has been deployed in more than 140 countries. Backed by the R&D and resources of SAP, the company says its customers can plan, acquire and manage all types of external talent on a secure, cloud-based platform.
