SATO America, a vendor of automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) technology, including systems for barcode printing, labeling and radio frequency identification (RFID), has created a program for boosting supplier compliance with the discount retailer Sam's Club. Based on Electronic Product Code Gen 2 standards for RFID, the "Ready-Set-Solved!" program helps companies to meet RFID tagging requirements recently announced by Sam's Club. As of Jan. 31, all Sam's Club suppliers must begin tagging full, single pallets or incur a service free for each one that is not RFID-tagged. Ready-Set-Solved! includes several SATO Products, including a GL408e RFID printer, Label Gallery 2 TruePro software for label design, one roll of AD-222 RFID labels, and one roll of T101A standard wax ribbons.
