Oco, Inc., a provider of hosted business-intelligence and data-integration software, has introduced a new suite of BI applications targeted at mid-sized manufacturers in the industrial products and consumer packaged goods industries. The two new products, Oco Industrial Products Solution and Oco Consumer Packaged Goods Solution, feature modules with dashboards, reports and key performance indicators in areas such as sales and profitability, sourcing and procurement, inventory, asset management, transportation and logistics, and quality and production. The pre-built packages offer mid-market companies an easy starting point for accessing business intelligence capabilities via a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. Such companies can get their BI applications up and running within weeks, the vendor claimed. They can drill down to granular levels of detail in order to identify root causes of problems and areas for improvement.
