CEVA Logistics Thailand has been awarded a three-year renewal of its contract to provide services to Central Food Retail, the country's leading supermarket. CEVA has managed Central Food's temperature-controlled store-delivery operation since December of 2004. Under the extended contract, the provider will manage and operate the delivery of fresh food to Tops' branches throughout Bangkok, as well as other stores in the area. CEVA will operate a fleet of lightweight, temperature-controlled, refrigerated vehicles. Its services include "in-body" temperature monitoring, the backhauling of returns, and on-site fleet maintenance. CEVA provides logistics services to a wide range of industries, including automotive, industrial, technology, retail and consumer, healthcare, publishing, aerospace, and oil and gas. It combines the operations of two formerly independent entities, TNT Logistics and Eagle Global Logistics.
