Seko Worldwide has opened new or expanded offices in Rochester, N.Y.; Norfolk, Va. and Dallas, TX, to expand its customer base and broaden the company's ability to provide logistics services in the U.S. All three offices are full-service logistics operations. In Rochester, where it expanded the local office, Seko is primarily serving upstate New York, between Buffalo and Syracuse. Seko's growth in Rochester is partly the result of increased business in its MedTec program, which handles shipments of high-value equipment for medical, pharmaceutical and other high-tech customers. Last year, Seko said, the office experienced a 50-percent increase in its export and import shipping services, including ground and air modes. Norfolk, where Seko has opened a new office, has a long history as a strategic military and transportation center. Located close to Norfolk International Airport and the Port of Hampton Roads, the new office will primarily serve southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. An expanded Dallas office serves the greater part of Texas and Louisiana, offering such services as domestic and international shipping, customs brokerage, warehouse management and time-definite ground transportation. Seko has seen an increase in its import and export business through Dallas, with particular growth in the residential delivery market.
