Delivery companies face a lot of obstacles — from too many point solutions to that thorny, final leg.
Delivery management software company GetSwift is aiming to solve them all, and it’s buying up partners to help.
Two new software-as-a-service (SaaS) acquisitions — of Delivery Biz Pro and Scheduling+ — are part of GetSwift’s strategy: to unify the technology needed to address every step of the delivery market.
Colorado-based Delivery Biz Pro provides software solutions for optimizing delivery in produce, dairy, meal-kit and water industries.
“With its diverse product offering — including front-end services — DBP and GetSwift will enable customers to have an end-to-end, last-mile solution in key markets,” said Bane Hunter, chief executive officer of GetSwift.
Meanwhile Scheduling+, also Colorado-based, provides tools that use big data and artificial intelligence to manage e-commerce delivery workers like drivers, cyclers, dispatchers and other hourly employees. The software combines scheduling, task management, attendance, payroll and more.
Integrating this technology will allow GetSwift to offer a one-stop shop to its customers, the company says.
