OATenterprise, a technology platform providing real-time visibility of distributed operations using radio frequency identification (RFID), is now available from OATSystems. The tool is intended to simplify the management of all RFID systems, the company said. It provides a single dashboard for deployment, monitoring, optimizing, data, devices and workflow rules. Real-time process management allows companies to track orders, assets and equipment. They can also address exceptions at any stage of the process. Acting as a "multi-site" enabler, OATenterprise lets users manage master data, devices and Electronic Product Code numbers to avoid overlapping or duplication across multiple sites. They can configure a device once, and then replicate it at multiple facilities. The system automatically distributes loads across available resources within a site, while monitoring devices and operations on a real-time basis across the organization. OATenterprise also integrates with existing business systems, the company said.
