Sedex has launched Sedex Analytics, a new supply chain reporting tool that enables businesses to create instant visibility of their supply chain and manage risks that may be affecting workers across sites within the supply chain.
Sedex Analytics allows businesses to drill down on site-specific issues that can affect workers in supply chains. Using data in Sedex Analytics can help analyse how factors such as gender and the permanency of work can impact gender inequality and responsible recruitment practices. The tool features an interactive user interface, maps and dashboards, providing easily downloadable reports, allowing businesses to quickly and efficiently gain access to supply chain data, so that they can save more time and resources to invest in their ethical trade practices.
“Creating supply chain transparency is the first step toward managing risks that affect workers, their safety and rights within the supply chain,” said Mark Sugden, Director of Products and Services at Sedex. “Sedex Analytics is Sedex’s latest product to support businesses to really understand their supply chain, supporting informed decision-making that improves ethical business and procurement practices, helping to address the complexities that create human rights issues.”
