Solution: Ports America created PA Connect, an application that feeds container information from marine terminals directly into transportation management systems (TMS). The tool provides container availability, release state, demurrage status and amount, last free day, discharge event, gate events and more.
Results: Dispatchers no longer need to leave their system to check on container updates — improving motor carrier asset utilization and increasing efficiency.
