HighJump Software, the vendor of supply-chain execution software, has released version 10.0 of its HighJump Supply Chain Advantage Suite. The update contains numerous improvements. The HighJump Advantage Warehouse system now includes a warehouse wizard to support a user-friendly, streamlined approach to warehouse setup, the company said. It also features a flexible approach for defining and tracking unique inventory attributes, without limiting the number of attributes that can be tracked for a given item. Advantage Architect, a supply-chain process-modeling tool, offers broader revision tracking and the addition of an enterprise application repository. A Billing Management module, creating a single billing platform for all systems, allows logistics service providers to support complex contractual requirements. HighJump Labor Advantage offers a comprehensive performance-management tool to plan and manage the distribution-center workforce. In another company announcement, HighJump has expanded its presence in the Japanese marketplace; through a strategic agreement with Tokyo-based UNI3 Systems Co., Ltd. UNI3 is a provider of software, consulting and systems-development services. It will work closely with the 3M Supply Chain Solutions team within Sumitomo 3M, a 3M operating subsidiary in Japan. (HighJump is also a unit of 3M.) In the process, UNI3 will become a full associate of HighJump, responsible for marketing, selling, implementing and supporting the HighJump Supply Chain Advantage software suite. UNI3 has more than 20 years of experience in the logistics sector.
