Syspro, a vendor of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for manufacturers, has made available Document Management for Syspro. The new product allows mid-market manufacturers to achieve new cost and time efficiencies while addressing regulatory compliance mandates, the vendor said. Companies can access, manage and automate the routing of all digital content, including scanned paper documents, e-mails, faxes, print streams, application files, e-forms, Web content and multimedia files. The application is optionally available with enhanced workflow features. Document Management for Syspro is embedded into Syspro's standard ERP software, allowing workers to manage those documents directly from their work screens, without leaving their applications. It also provides an inherent document trail, which protects and verifies the security of unstructured documents. Annotations can be added to all documents, and revisions of internal documents can be produced or altered as needed.
