Oracle Corp. has added 33 Oracle Accelerate partner applications, bringing the total number to 123. Certified and Certified Advantage Partners in the vendor's Oracle PartnerNetwork are now offering Oracle Accelerate tools in 18 countries, across 18 industries and 42 industry sub-segments. Industries added to the roster include healthcare and oil and gas; new industry sub-segments include chemicals, consumables, downstream oil and gas, electronics contract manufacturing, hard goods and logistics. The additions have resulted in the first Oracle Accelerate applications tied to the company's Agile Product Lifecycle Management software. GoEngineer, Inc. is the first partner to launch Oracle Accelerate based on the Agile PLM suite. Oracle Accelerate software provides mid-sized companies with pre-packaged application bundles, offering a wide range of industry-specific functionality.
