Oracle Corp. has announced the availability of its JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management and Compliance Console. The new software provides users with analytical capabilities on their desktops, including targeted financial performance metrics and compliance information. They can define role-based views across a comprehensive set of performance metrics, to issue relevant information to users within various areas of responsibility. The configurable, role-based console contains 47 pre-defined metrics that can be adapted to hundreds of permutations, Oracle said. Metrics include financial ratios, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and corporate governance. The console also includes seven categories of compliance alerts to support operational controls. Companies can monitor changes in critical system settings, such as credit limits and expense management policies. No data warehouse is required to run the console, the vendor said. The new product is now available for licensed customers relying on versions 8.11 SP1 and 8.12 of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
