Evans Distribution Systems, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain solutions, has announced the release of evans365, a new business intelligence tool. The tool provides warehouse customers a holistic view of their account activity based on real-time data.
"As a logistics service provider, we are always trying to add value to our customers," said John A. Evans, President and CEO of Evans Distribution Systems. "Data is the new business currency. We understand the need to give customers not only access to their data, but access to business intelligence tools to enhance decision-making."
Evans365 accesses and analyzes data sets from Evans’ warehouse management system and other data sources and presents findings graphically. The interactive dashboards allow customers to spot trends and understand activity on multiple levels. Dashboards allow customers to export the raw data into Excel and export the graphs as pdf, jpg or png files.
"Based upon feedback from our focus group, we incorporated key data points that will provide the most value to our customers. We also accounted for the variables in our customer accounts to allow full manipulation of the visualizations considering time frame, facility, SKUs and inventory units," said Evans.
