Zebra Technologies, a vendor of specialty printing and automatic identification systems, has developed the ZebraNet Internal Wireless Plus print server option, soon to be available on all of the vendor's high-performance and thermal printers for industrial and commercial use. The feature will provide customers with a factory-installed radio card that is compatible with currently supported securities. The wireless connectivity unit offers enhanced 802.11b/g security through an internal wireless radio card, which eliminates the need to purchase a card from a third-party vendor. A deported antenna allows users to maximize wireless reception through custom antenna positioning. The ZebraNet Internal Wireless Plus option board will be available as a field-installable kit by Zebra authorized service providers on all of the company's printers.
