According to the vendor, the new tool is suited for industries such as third-party logistics, manufacturing, distribution and retail. It is designed for rapid implementation and setup, offering built-in best practices for key warehouse functions such as storage and allocation strategies. Documentation includes a configuration tutorial and administrator's guide, for in-house deployment by IT personnel. The software simplifies master data setup through the import and export functions of Microsoft Excel. Users can add more advanced functionality as their needs evolve. A service-oriented architecture framework allows for the addition of modules, such as radio frequency identification, billing and labor forecasting.
