Tideworks Technology Inc., a vendor of software for marine terminal management and planning, has created DigitalBridge. The Web-based graphical application allows terminal personnel to monitor activities in real time. It offers visibility into key performance indicators. An easy-to-use browser interface presents terminal data using dynamic gate, yard, vessel and rail metrics that can be easily translated into appropriate actions, the company said. A growing library of metrics provides information drawn from the terminal operating system's database. Users can monitor operations based on the unique requirements of their terminals. Customizable alerts provide advance warning when user-defined thresholds are reached. A "My Favorites" feature enables users to customize Digital Bridge, aggregating the most commonly utilized metrics into one work space. Digital Bridge integrates with other Tideworks applications, including Mainsail Terminal Management System, Spinnaker Planning Management System and Traffic Control.
