Swiss WorldCargo has launched a non-stop flight between Zurich and Shanghai. The daily run, which takes 12 hours and 25 minutes, uses an Airbus A340-300.
"Swiss exports to China increased 35 percent over the last three years and imports to Switzerland from China increased 16 percent in 2007. It is therefore a great challenge to position our brand and quality offerings in Shanghai, our second online station within the Greater China Area," says Dieter Vranckx, managing director for Asia, Africa and Middle East. "The new flight will enable our customers to take advantage of Swiss WorldCargo's premium services to ensure high quality delivery of general cargo and special products across our global network."
