Cross-border e-commerce activity has grown dramatically since 2020 as consumers have increasingly turned to the online purchase of goods. Now, logistics company GEODIS is promising to deliver those goods around the world in as little as two days.
GEODIS MyParcel — a direct-to-customer, cross-border delivery service from the U.S. to 26 European continental countries, the U.K. and Canada — aims to help brands grow their e-commerce business on a global scale by offering fast delivery at a total landed all-in cost. The service guarantees delivery in 2-7 days, and plans to continue expanding into new regions.
“With no end in sight for current cross-border e-commerce trends, it is vital brands today implement international shipping into their operations to meet demand and remain competitive,” said Michael Lamia, senior vice president of GEODIS MyParcel and GEODIS eLogistics in Americas.
Delivery speed is often cited by customers as the No. 1 issue related to cross-border e-commerce, according to the International Post Corporation.
“Ultimately, GEODIS MyParcel is designed to offer the right balance between speed and price,” Lamia said.
The service also features a tax and customs duty calculator for complete price transparency — preventing any surprise fees upon delivery.
