The site provides a one-stop shop for hardware, software and services certified by ClearOrbit. Hardware items include scanners, mobile computers, label printers, wireless infrastructure equipment, printer labels and spare batteries. The store will also offer online registration and payment processing for all ClearOrbit software-training courses. For the future, the company plans to offer a variety of software applications that integrate to leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, such as those of Oracle Corp. and SAP AG. To encourage first-time users to shop at the Web Store, ClearOrbit is offering a 5-percent discount off all hardware orders totaling greater than $1,000, and a 10-percent discount off individual registration for training classes. The discount is good through Aug. 15. According to ClearOrbit, the store is designed to augment, not replace, its sales and customer-service teams.
