IQMS has released an enhanced version of EnterpriseIQ, the vendor's enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The application now contains more than 1,000 built-in reports and 400 additions to areas such as quality management, electronic data interchange (EDI), warehouse management system (WMS), product lifecycle management (PLM), security and forecasting. Specific enhancements include expanded electronic funds transfer (EFT) payment features; integrated caller ID functionality between telephony and customer relationship management (CRM); batch-reassignment capabilities to speed up employee-responsibility changes; improved drop-ship functionality between sales order, purchase order and shipping; automatic calculation of credit limit; expanded capabilities for functional acknowledgments in EDI; added search capabilities throughout attached documents; expanded multiple-plant functionality; enhanced kanban capabilities; production cost calculations by lot number, and expanded integration to shipping carriers.
