CargoGulf, a non-vessel operating common carrier (NVO), is now offering faster transit from the United Kingdom to the Middle East. The company has begun direct groupage services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Jeddah. The action was taken in response to customer demand and rapid growth in that lane, according to Mike Millar, general manager of CargoGulf UK Ltd. CargoGulf also provides services to Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), Doha, Dammam and Riyadh via Dubai. It maintains receiving stations throughout the U.K. and weekly sailings to and from the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
