Interos, a creator of supply chain resilience platforms, announced April 25 it had been awarded a landmark contract with the United States Navy to help the service branch develop a supply chain risk management (SCRM) platform for its 30 support organizations stationed around the globe. Interos will provide tools and intelligence to the U.S. Navy while giving guidance to ensure “network cohesion and resilience.”
Interos’ offerings will be embedded in the Navy’s Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) organization, marking a major achievement for global competitiveness, national security and Department of Defense resilience.
Interos will offer pre-emptive responses that allow the U.S. Navy to assess, identify and reduce multi-factor supply chain risks thanks to the company’s discovery and scoring methodology. Moreover, monitoring, alerts and other risk reduction capabilities will be incorporated into several government sourcing programs.
