Kinaxis Inc., a supply chain management software company, announced May 1 that it had joined forces with the global supply chain organization HAVI to launch a new analytics and planning tool for members of the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry. The partnership will see the two sides provide members of the QSR sector with Kinaxis’ RapidResponse platform as well as HAVI’s 40-plus years of expertise in the supply chain space.

The company says the new tool allows customers to make optimal decisions through the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence models that constantly analyze a combination of microeconomic and macroeconomic data. Moreover, clients will be able to use the new function to identify, address and prevent potential supply chain risks.
