Supply chain risk management software provider Avetta recently announced it would be launching a cyber risk assessment tool within its Avetta One offering. The new feature will provide companies with a quantitative score that evaluates ten areas of cybersecurity while simultaneously delivering a cyber health grade to suppliers.
The company says the new feature provides visibility into the cyber health of a company’s entire supply chain, including alerts that make clients aware of when their cyber health score falls outside of an acceptable range. By using this tool, companies will be able to identify potential risks that could lead to supply chain attacks.
The Supply Chain Cyber Risk Solution is powered by the security ratings, response and resilience company SecurityScorecard, which provides actionable insights into 12 million organizations around the globe so that users can strengthen their cyber defenses and respond to cyber risks.
