A recent World Bank report, "Connecting to Compete," pulled no punches when it came to ranking the logistical performance of South American nations against the rest of the world. Singapore and Hong Kong led, with Chile being the first South America country to appear in the analysis, at No. 32. Argentina is the next South American country at No. 46, beneath both China and Thailand, with the emerging economic superpower of Brazil at No. 61.
