The Women in Trucking Association (WIT) announced October 23 that three people had been named finalists for the 2023 Influential Woman in Trucking Award, which recognizes female leaders in the industry while attempting to attract more women to the trucking sector.

This year’s finalists are Tori Blake (CFO and co-owner of Western Logistics Express, WLX), Shelley Simpson (the president of J.B. Hunt Transport Services) and Megan Ferguson (the vice president of End-to-End Delivery Acceleration for Walmart).

A panel discussion regarding women in the field of trucking will be held in Dallas, Texas at the WIT Accelerate! Conference & Expo taking place from November 5 to November 8. The winner of the 2023 Influential Woman in Trucking Award will be announced following the panel discussion on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:15 a.m. EDT.
