Glenvale Technology Inc. has become a Premier Partner and value-added reseller (VAR) of Sky-Trax Inc. The latter specializes in optical technology for tracking vehicles as well as assets inside warehouses. Glenvale is an industrial distributor based in Toronto, Ontario. The partnership is aimed at bringing state-of-the-art warehousing systems to Canadian industries, the companies said. Glenvale becomes one of Sky-Trax's first VARs in Canada. It is now an official distributor and carrier of Sky-Trax products, including the full line of Sky-Trax systems, individual components and installation services. Sky-Trax's optical technology, applicable to real-time warehouse pallet identification, data collection and vehicle tracking, is an alternative to radio frequency identification (RFID)-based systems. Sky-Trax's Premier Partner VAR program gives distributors the opportunity to expand their existing product lines to include new alternative technologies. Glenvale focuses on two prime market areas: communications and wireless network products for industrial process industries, and warehouse logistics and safety for manufacturing and warehousing.
