PT.FPS Movers, an affiliate of the Famous Pacific Shipping Group, has been accepted as a member of the Household Goods Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (HHGFAA). The company launched its household goods subsidiary in Indonesia a year ago. It has grown steadily since then, fed by a significant increase in the number of expatriates relocating through the region, PT.FPS said. Based at the unit's Indonesian headquarters in Jakarta, PT.FPS Movers provides a fully integrated package of relocation services, including pre-move surveys and advice, packing, storage and shipment. It also offers personal services such as assistance with home and school searches, and orientation and familiarization programs in the destination country. PT.FPS Movers has become the first company within Famous Pacific Shipping's global network to offer the niche cargo-management service. It is working with FIDI- and FAIM-accredited agents, the company said. HHGFAA claims worldwide membership of some 2,000 companies in more than 165 countries and territories. The global network of Famous Pacific Shipping includes 43 companies from 22 countries.
