ZohoDocs is the name of a new online file repository and management application introduced by Zoho, a division of AdventNet. The tool integrates all of a user's private files from Zoho Writer, Zoho Sheet, ZohoShow and other applications, making them available within a single interface. Zoho Docs has a split-pane interface for creating, editing, sharing, viewing and collaborating on files. It is similar to the "Documents" section of Zoho Business, with the main desktop window flanked on the left by My Folders, My Groups, My Views and My Tags sections, all of which can be expanded or collapsed. Users can resize the split panes to give more or less space to the desktop. Zoho Docs supports hierarchical folders as well as drag-and-drop folder management. The root folder lists files in Zoho Writer, Zoho Sheet and Zoho Show. Clicking on a file opens a new tab, inside Zoho Docs, which displays the file in read-only mode. An "Edit" option gives users the ability to edit the document in a new window, using the appropriate Zoho application. Zoho Docs supports multiple file formats; users can upload any format to the application, including ZIP and PDF.
