Menlo Worldwide Logistics has expanded its presence in Guadalajara, Mexico. The move includes a relocation of functions from Mexico City to Guadalajara, including sales, finance, administrative, transportation management and engineering. Menlo will continue to serve Mexico City through its existing network of distribution centers and account representatives. Currently the company manages more than 15,000 square meters of warehouse space in Mexico, with distribution facilities in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara. According to Menlo, the move to Guadalajara will allow the company to take advantage of the region's deep labor pool and staffing resources, and better service the expanding local market. Guadalajara is a growing high-tech market, Menlo said. The company is the global logistics subsidiary of Con-way Inc.
