What can truck drivers do to embrace a healthier lifestyle?
An estimated 70% of commercial truck drivers suffer from obesity. And their life expectancy is 16 years below the national average. Clearly, something needs to be done to boost driver health while addressing the nationwide shortage of qualified drivers. On this issue, we speak with Brandon Rothrock, founder and chief executive officer of B-Lean Fitness, a weight-loss coaching service designed exclusively for truck drivers. We’ll discuss why it’s so difficult to stay healthy on the road, where the only options for regular meals are often truck stops and fast food. Good nutrition, exercise and weight control are all critical considerations in the lives of drivers today. Hosted by Bob Bowman, Editor-in-Chief of SupplyChainBrain.
