Aerospace Products International, a provider of distribution and supply chain services for the aviation industry, says its newest distribution and logistics center will be in Shanghai.
API's new facility is 100 percent owned by First Aviation Services Inc., API's parent company. The new facility will offer warehousing for API's product distribution and 3PL services.
Aerospace Products International, headquartered in Memphis, distributes aircraft parts and related products and components to manufacturers, maintenance providers, and operators of some of the most widely used commercial and general aviation aircraft. API also offers the aviation industry extensive supply chain management and third-party logistics services and solutions, including forecasting and procurement services, inventory management, rotables management, and product sales. In addition, it offers overhaul and repair services for brakes and starters/generators, and builds custom hose assemblies.
