The software is built on the JDA Enterprise Architecture platform for multimodal, multi-carrier management. An intelligent user interface helps to minimize training requirements. A decision-support engine dynamically manages light loads by graphically displaying the current utilization of a truck, then making recommendations on how the empty space can best be consumed. Task-driven workflows allow planners to define the scope of their daily job responsibilities by geographic area, transportation mode, customer group and operations type. In addition, automated exception-management capabilities monitor real-time events, proactively generating user alerts to critical issues. The software helps to reduce carrier turndown rates and expediting costs, while improving customer fill rates, according to JDA.
