Agrostroj, a Czech farm machinery manufacturer since 1886 which co-produces with such transnational corporations as Volvo, Mitsubishi and Caterpillar, has deployed the Radio Beacon WMS in its warehouse in Pelhrimov.
"We are delighted with our new ability to manage our warehouse with improved accuracy and transparency," says Jaroslav Kudyn, IT director of Agrostroj. "Even though we've only been using Radio Beacon WMS since February 2006, we have already seen efficiency improvements, a reduction in the number of shipping errors, and our picking speed has more than doubled."
Among other reasons, Agrostroj chose Radio Beacon for its ability to interface with the locally produced Orfert ERP system. Agrostroj worked with Czech Republic-based Radio Beacon partner Kodys throughout the implementation. A specialist in implementing barcoding solutions, Kodys has been helping customers improve supply chain and logistics management for over 15 years. Kodys developed the interface to the Orfert ERP solution and guided Agrostroj's staff through the transition to an automated WMS system.
