Hanjin Logistics is augmenting its menu of customer service offerings with the LOG-NET supply chain execution system.
"We believe that there is no more efficient way to run our business than by utilizing the LOG-NET system," says Brendon Leahy, Hanjin Logistics' business systems implementation manager. "This technology is used by the world's most sophisticated companies because it provides an unparalleled level of service that we want to share with our customers."
The web-based LOG-NET system operates in 14 languages and can be configured to suit the user's needs. Functions include inventory visibility, order, transportation, customs compliance, warehouse and exception management, freight audit, product allocation, documentation, and ad hoc report writer. LOG-NET is EDI-enabled and can provide factory/supplier interfaces, carrier and customs broker interfaces, ERP interfaces and barcoding.
Hanjin Logistics (HJL) was founded in 2001 as the domestic arm of Hanjin Shipping, specializing in domestic container repositioning in North America. In January 2005, HJL launched its full service 3PL division in North America and throughout Asia.
