Averitt Express has expanded its truckload services to include the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and New Jersey. The additions mean that Averitt's truckload fleet is now directly providing service to 25 states. Its Integrated Services team supplies coverage of the remaining 25 states and Canada through the use of partner carriers. Averitt's transportation fleet includes more than 1,500 road units. The latest expansion, the carrier said, was made possible by the opening of new locations in Wichita, KS; Davenport, Iowa; Des Moines, Iowa and Kansas City, MO, along with the addition of truckload units at Averitt's newly constructed service center in Winchester, VA. Averitt Express also has international operations in more than 100 countries. Its services include truckload, less-than-truckload, time-critical, import/export and supply-chain management. The company's expertise extends to dedicated fleet operations, warehousing services and transportation management.
