RedPrairie Corporation says it has entered into an OEM reseller agreement with GEOCOMtms, a provider of fleet management solutions for local pickup and delivery. The integrated solution will enable source to delivery visibility and control over all inventory in transit, whether inbound or outbound, including long haul and short haul legs.

The partnership will combine RedPrairie's long haul routing, consolidation and carrier management for inbound and outbound transportation optimization with GEOCOMtms's fleet management applications for same-day local and short-haul pickup and delivery operations. Customers will be able to plan, optimize, execute and track shipments in real time from the distribution center to the retail store or business customer, regardless of the multiple transportation modes, pool points or fleet resources involved. In addition, the integration with RedPrairie's distribution, workforce performance management and dock door scheduling capabilities provides seamless workflow throughout the fulfillment and delivery process.
