Frozen Food Express Industries, Inc. has expanded its regional service on the U.S. West Coast. On April 6, FFE was to begin providing overnight and two-day less-than-truckload service for intrastate California shipments, and two-day service between the Pacific Northwest and California. FFE said the expansion was in response to customer demand for new service options for temperature-controlled LTL shipments moving between California and the Pacific Northwest on the I-5 corridor. The regional expansion complements FFE's existing nationwide LTL network. FFE offers temperature-controlled LTL and truckload service for food, healthcare and confectionary products. It also performs dry truckload transportation, brokerage, logistics services and dedicated-fleet management.
