It is possible for one person to ask these questions as both a consumer and supply chain leader. The irony is that as supply chain leaders, we don't have good answers to the questions from consumers. Global track and trace likely will not be a reality any time soon if the value chain does not deploy a model that ensures patient safety, readily exchanges data, and unleashes real value across the healthcare value chain.
