Zenith Global Logistics has forged a partnership with Hamburg, Germany-based Theodor Kroeger GmbH-International Distribution & Logistics, to provide distribution of home furnishings throughout Europe and beyond. Up to now, Zenith has focused on providing consolidation services in the U.S., with a limited presence in Europe, according to company vice president Steve Wolfe. The deal with Theodor Kroeger allows it to expand distribution throughout Europe and as far east as Ukraine. Customers will get a more cost-effective method for purchasing small orders from multiple U.S. suppliers, then having them consolidated and distributed to destinations in Europe, Wolfe said. Zenith's services include in-home delivery. It provides international and domestic furniture warehousing, overseas transportation and domestic distribution. Currently it operates more than 4.5 million square feet of domestic warehouse space, with 11 locations in Southern California, Dallas, North Carolina, Virginia and Mississippi. Theodor Kroeger maintains eight furniture distribution facilities through Europe.
