The Evans Network of Companies has forged a partnership with East Side Logistics, which will now operate as an Evans Delivery Company agency. It will run a service center in Nashville, Tenn., providing ocean and rail container drayage serving rail and ports in the Southeast. The service center is just five miles from every major interstate feeding Nashville, the company said. The partnership will give customers access to Evans' network of 80 service centers in the U.S. Transportation services provided by Evans Delivery include intermodal container and trailer drayage, van truckload and flatbed. The Evans Network claims a fleet of more than 1,350 tractors throughout the country, offering services through six divisions: Evans Delivery, West Motor Freight, All Points Transport Corp., Hale Intermodal Trucking, Century Express and DM Transportation Management Services.
