Kinaxis has created a Supply Chain Expert Community. Free and open to the public, the online venture is aimed primarily at supply chain professionals, industry analysts, consultants and media. It serves as a social platform for three core functions: learning, where participants can ask questions and research information related to the supply chain; sharing, where colleagues can join in topical discussions, and connecting, where supply chain professionals can meet and network. The community features three main areas of content: Manufacturing Industries, Kinaxis RapidResponse and Entertainment. The sub-community for manufacturers and supply chain professionals allows participants to ask a question or make a suggestion in the discussion forums, upload a video or document, and post opinions to the blog. RapidResponse contains information related to the on-demand supply-chain management service of that name from Kinaxis. The Entertainment area houses humorous videos and other materials related to the supply chain.
