Cybra Corp. has released MarkMagic 7 Enterprise, the latest version of its document-development software. Cybra is a vendor of MarkMagic barcode labels, radio frequency identification tags, and electronic forms software. MarkMagic 7 is an integrated application which helps users to add barcode, forms, reports and RFID technology without programming. A new FormComposer feature for report writing allows customers to produce multiple types of reports, containing headers and repeating detail lines, while allowing for overflow handling and other special functions. A new add-on option known as MarkMagic PrintTransformer lets users develop formatted print jobs without writing a line of code, the vendor said. They can specify conditions and rules based on document information. At run time, PrintTransfer automatically transforms those conditions and rules, then formats fields, changes print instructions and bursts print jobs to print each record with its own set of instructions. A third new feature, MarkMagic OnDemand, creates a Web-based portal which allows customers securely to sign on (via a user ID and secure password), then search for, print or e-mail invoices, statements, purchase orders or other MarkMagic forms.
